Buddy is a 2–3 year old Carolina Dog mix who truly lives up to his name. He’s affectionate, gentle, and the kind of dog who just wants to be close to his people. After being brought into an open-intake shelter as a stray, Buddy found himself at risk simply because the shelter was overcrowded. Thankfully, he got his second chance — and he’s been thriving ever since.

In foster care, Buddy has shown everyone what an incredible companion he is. He’s easygoing, adaptable, and full of love. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is respectful around cats, and loves kids — making him a great fit for many different types of families.
