Jack is a 1-year-old Carolina Dog mix, and he’s the perfect blend of sweetness, intelligence, and playful energy. This handsome yellow boy came into care as a stray, but he has adjusted beautifully with structure, love, and routine. Jack is cautious for a moment with new people, but once he feels safe, he becomes incredibly friendly, affectionate, and eager to bond.

Jack loves other dogs and truly thrives with a canine companion — he seeks out dog friends for comfort and play, and feels most secure having a buddy by his side. He enjoys wrestling, tug-of-war, and chase, and he’s respectful and well-mannered in dog interactions. With humans, he’s completely comfortable being handled and loves spending time with children.

He’s a very smart dog who learns quickly with consistency and positive reinforcement. Jack is curious, athletic, and full of personality — the kind of dog who just needs the right family to help him shine.
