Carolina Dog Dogs Available for Adoption

Goose is a 1-year-old, 40-lb Carolina Dog mix who wakes up every day choosing joy, friendship, and sitting directly on people. He is the sweetest boy and firmly believes he was designed to be a lap dog. Science says medium-sized. Goose says absolutely not.

While Goose can be a world-class snuggler and very chill cuddle bug, he's also discovering his inner party animal. He gets super excited, shows his happiness with enthusiastic hops, and is currently learning that not every greeting requires full-body launch mode. He's a smart boy and is already working on his jumping manners.

Goose is fantastic with other dogs and honestly thinks dogs are the greatest invention of all time. Because of how much he loves them, we'd highly recommend a home with another dog-he would be thrilled to have a built-in best friend to play with, nap with, and follow around dramatically.

He appears to be house trained, does well in his crate, and is overall a very easy, sweet guy. Car rides make him a little nervous right now, but he did just fine and will only get better with confidence and snacks.
