DESCRIPTION
Hi my name is Khloe! I was dumped at a local gas station and was trying to fend for myself. I got turned into the county animal services as a stray- even though I am microchipped, my owners never cared to claim me. Thankfully, the nice people at Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue stepped up and pulled me from the county services.
I was pretty crazy with a lot of puppy energy when I first came to the rescue, but all the nice people here have helped me learn better manners- so now I am looking for my REAL furever family! I am estimated to be about 1 1/2yrs old and I appear to be Carolina dog/husky mix with maybe some Welsh Corgi. Whatever my mix is, I have the most beautiful eyes and coat!
I am very playful and energetic, so would do best with a family who is as active and outgoing as me. I seem to get along with most other dogs; please, let's do safe and proper introductions first. I try to play with the cats, but they don't tend to appreciate my energy much. I like to play with toys and chase balls (I have the fetch part down, but brining them back is still a work in progress!)
My $350 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming and preventatives while in our care, heartworm test (negative) and microchip.

The Carolina Dog, a primitive breed known for its wild ancestry, is a medium sized, agile, and intelligent dog originally found roaming freely in the Southeastern United States. With a distinctive appearance marked by erect ears, a bushy tail, and a sable coat, Carolina Dogs are highly adaptable, affectionate with their families, and wary of strangers, making them excellent watchdogs. Their natural hunting instincts and independence require consistent training and an active lifestyle to thrive in a loving home environment.
The Siberian Husky is a medium sized working dog breed known for its striking appearance and friendly demeanor. Originating from Siberia, these dogs are well adapted to cold climates and are recognizable for their distinctive wolf like appearance, including piercing almond shaped eyes and a thick double coat. Siberian Huskies are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and strong willed nature, making them best suited for active families and experienced dog owners who can provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
