Rounding out the SPIRITS litter is Gin Spirits, an 11-week-old Carolina Dog/Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing 19 pounds (as of 2/12/26)! Gin was born born in Tennessee to nice, mellow medium-to-large breed dogs (pictured) which means as she grows, there'll be more to love! While her Momma is staying with their owner, Gin is ready to move onto bigger and better i.e. a classy New England home with you!
UPDATE from her foster: She’s so sweet and mellow, super cuddly and just loves affection! We’re working on potty training and so far so good (given it’s only been a day) and we’re working on “sit”. I do call her Ginny
Gin is a playful puppy who'll constantly keep you entertained with her antics and cuteness. But why keep her all to yourself? Gin is great with kids and other dogs, so you should definitely bring her to your next family picnic. Everyone will be so distracted by her friendliness, they won't even ask you about your depressing love life! It's a win-win!
Gin would be great in a patient home where she can master puppy training and obedience school with tender loving care. She can't wait to grow and be the best companion for you! So don't be sad that your Bumble date ghosted! Gin will be right here with all the love you need! Adopt this cuddly girl today!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
