Girlfriend is a stunning 1.5-year-old Cane Corso mix, weighing in at around 100 pounds of strength, beauty, and devotion. With her gorgeous brindle coat and soulful eyes, she turns heads — but it’s her loyalty and heart that truly make her special.
Girlfriend came to us from local animal control and has already overcome a lot, including undergoing double cherry eye surgery while in our care. She’s now healthy, feeling great, and ready for her next chapter.
She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give her a little time and you’ll quickly see her affectionate side shine through. Once she trusts you, Girlfriend is incredibly loving — she’ll happily cover you in kisses, lean her full weight into you for scratches, and soak up all the belly rubs you’re willing to give. She forms strong bonds and is the definition of a loyal companion.
Girlfriend enjoys walks and runs, but she is a very strong girl and will need someone physically capable of handling her size and power. She doesn’t always realize just how big she is, so continued training and structure will be important to help her succeed.
She would do best in a home with no cats and should be considered dog selective. A home without children is also required to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.
