DESCRIPTION
Meet Emmy!
Emmy came to us as a stray and she is ready for adoption.
Here are the details on Emmy:
-Emmy gets along with some dogs. If you have a dog in the home, we will do a dog to dog meet and greet to see if everyone gets along. But she would also do well as the only pet.
-Emmy loves people. No one is a stranger to her. She will gladly fall into your lap for pets and affection. Think of a canon ball launching into your arms.
-Emmy is energetic and playful. There is no squeaky toy she doesn't love.
-Emmy needs a house so she can have room to roam but a fenced in yard is not required.
If you are a pretty active person and ready for the wiggliest companion, Emmy is waiting for you!
If your application was approved and you received a call back from the Humane Society of Macomb for a meet and greet, plan to take the animal home that day. Be prepared to adopt and to bring a home a new family member. We cannot place puppies/dogs on hold to come pick up for another day.Thank you for showing an interest in our pets. We can never guarantee the breeds of the animals. We do not DNA test. Please feel free to call us with any questions.
ABOUT: CANE CORSO DOG BREED
The Cane Corso, known for its muscular build and imposing presence, is a formidable yet loyal Italian mastiff breed. With origins tracing back to ancient Roman times, these powerful dogs were initially used for hunting, guarding, and protection. Today, they are beloved family companions, displaying a calm and affectionate temperament towards their owners. The Cane Corso's distinctive appearance, intelligence, and protective instincts make them popular choices for experienced dog owners seeking a devoted yet vigilant companion.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
