DESCRIPTION
Meet Ginger—a self-appointed Carkie (Cairn x Yorkie) with excellent boundaries and even better cheekbones.
Ginger is sweet, but on her terms. She’s not here for constant attention or performative cuddles—she prefers a more mutual respect dynamic. Independent, observant, a little aloof… she’s the kind of dog who will quietly choose you, and when she does, it actually means something.
She keeps a low profile, minds her business, and then suddenly appears at your side like she’s been there the whole time. She’s got a soft, wiry coat, sharp little ears, and a gaze that suggests she knows more than she’s letting on.
Ginger can be a bit reactive in new situations, but it’s less chaos and more discernment. She does best with a calm, patient human who understands that trust is built, not rushed. Once you’re in, though, you’re in. (No young kid energy for this girl.)
Ideal home: peaceful, low-drama, someone who appreciates a dog with a little independence and a lot of quiet loyalty. Ginger isn’t for everyone—and that’s exactly the point.
NOTE: GA adoptions within 2 hours of metro Atlanta only
