Cairn Terrier and Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Shelby is a super sweet and spunky 1-year-old, 15 lb Terrier mix with a social personality and a heart full of love. He’s the kind of pup who makes friends everywhere he goes — Shelby adores other dogs and is happy to meet new people with a wagging tail and bright, curious spirit.

Shelby came into the shelter after being hit by a car, and sadly suffered a crushed paw with fractures to his right metatarsals (#1–4). Despite everything he’s been through, Shelby has remained incredibly resilient, cheerful, and full of life.

Shelby has made a full recovery after having surgery with the wonderful Veterinary Surgical Specialists and has full use of his paw.

Shelby is truly a little fighter with a sweet soul, and he’s ready for a loving forever home to cheer him on as he finishes his recovery. This brave boy has so much love (and pep!) to give.
