Bernadette and her sister Florence came to us from a hoarding case in Tulare.
Sadly, situations like this often mean animals grow up without the love, stability, and socialization they deserve. Despite that difficult start, Bernadette has proven to be an incredibly sweet girl.
Bernadette is a two year old Cairn Terrier mix who is a gentle, quiet soul. She can be a little shy at first and tends to observe before jumping into new situations, but once she feels safe, her loving personality begins to shine. She is soft, affectionate, and incredibly sweet with the people she trusts.
She is potty trained, has wonderful manners, and does well with other dogs and cats. Bernadette is currently in foster care and has been doing great, continuing to build confidence and learn what it means to be part of a loving home.
Because of her past, she would do best with a patient and understanding family willing to give her the time she needs to fully blossom.
