If you are searching for a dog who is equally majestic, snuggly, and hilariously unaware of her own size, look no further. Minnie is a sweet girl with a soft heart and an even softer spot for anyone willing to give her ear scratches and belly rubs.
Personality: She is calm, affectionate, and wonderfully loyal. Once she trusts you, she becomes your shadow—quietly padding behind you like an 85‑pound teddy bear who just wants to be near her person. She is not needy, just deeply devoted.
Home Life: She is a pro at indoor living. She loves naps, cozy corners, and supervising household activities with her signature “concerned but adorable” face. She is crate-trained, house-trained, but would prefer to sleep in your room at bedtime (in her own bed please). She is still working on her manners. It takes time and lots of practice to become a refined lady. She is good on a leash and like “walkies”.
With Other Pets: She does well with other dogs. She would thrive in a household where she has “siblings”. She is having fun with her “foster sister”. They play together but also like their own space.
What She’s Learning: She’s picking up commands quickly and loves positive reinforcement. Treats? Yes, please!!! Praise? Even better. She’s eager to please and flourishes with patient, loving guidance.
Her Perfect Match: Someone who appreciates a slow-paced, affectionate companion. A family or individual who wants a loyal friend to share quiet mornings, soft evenings, and the occasional goofy burst of zoomies.
Minako is great with kids. She has made a best friend out of our 8-year-old daughter. She just stares at her in awe and loves being near her.
If you want a dog who will love you with her whole giant heart, Minako is ready to meet you. She’s been through a lot, but she’s so ready for her next chapter—and she hopes it’s with you.
