Kratos loves simple joys: carrying around his favorite orange Chuck It ball, playing tug-of-war, relaxing on beach days, enjoying tasty treats, and settling in for cozy naps. He's hard of hearing and takes joint supplements to help manage his arthritis. He also gets occasional ear infections, but a quick round of antibiotics usually has him feeling better in no time.

Despite his size, Kratos is a total softie who thrives on affection and a calm, steady environment. He's perfect for someone looking for a loyal, mellow companion who still has a playful spark.

This handsome, larger-than-life guy recently got to spend a weekend in a home, and we learned some helpful things about him! While he settled in well with his people and enjoyed being in a home environment, it turns out Kratos thinks cats are a little too interesting... and not in a roommate kind of way. Because of that, he'll need a strictly cat-free home.
