Dexter is a large Bulldog mix (nearly 100 lbs) with a big presence and an even bigger heart—once you get to know him 🐶
Right now, shelter life has been tough on Dexter. The kennel environment can be overwhelming for him, and what you may see at first is stress—not his true personality. But give him a little time, space, and patience… and everything changes 💛
Outside of the kennel, Dexter begins to relax and show who he really is—a goofy, loyal, people-loving dog who forms strong bonds with those he trusts. He has already made great connections with volunteers and thrives with consistency and routine ✨
Dexter has been through a lot before and during his time with us, including multiple medical procedures, and he’s ready for a fresh start with someone who will give him the stability he deserves.
Because of his size and personality, Dexter would do best in a home that can provide structure, patience, and understanding as he continues to decompress and adjust.
