Just in time for the Kentucky Derby, our bets are placed on Lucy for Win!
This sweet Brittany Spaniel/Wire Fox Terrier mix was found being dragged down the road by a much larger dog. She sustained wounds to the face and legs, but her saviors didn't let that keep her down. They rushed her to the vet to get her wounds cleaned out and fixed up. They searched long and hard for any owners, but no one came for her.
She has spent the last month or so in their loving care, which has helped her heal and blossom into a playful, young teenager. She loves to chase a wiggle ball, play fetch, and snuggle with the best of them. She melts into your arms and holds your heart hostage.
Lucy is resilient and sweet. She doesn't show any signs of trauma from her experience, and all she wants to do now is live her best life. She likes to run and chase, and she plays well with other dogs at doggy daycare. Now that she's all healed up, she is working on potty training and making good progress.
Lucy's ideal family will be willing to continue her training and help her get her wiggles out. She would do well in an active home or continuing to attend daycare, where she can play and explore, and get all the best pictures. Can you give Lucy the love-filled furever home she deserves?
