Marshall came to us January 29 after being on the loose in South County for quite some time before law enforcement was finally able to bring him to safety.

He arrived scared and unsure. And honestly? Who could blame him.

But here’s the beautiful part — he’s settling. The nervous edge is softening. With patience and gentle training, he’s showing us that loyal, ready-to-bond heart underneath. Marshall would thrive with an active person who wants a “let’s go do things” kind of partner. Hikes, beach walks, truck rides… he’s ready for a second chance and someone steady in his corner.

Marshall warms up slowly but as soon as he knows he can trust you, a happy, vibrant, playful side of him shines through. To feel that trust from him is to gain a friend for life. He is a buddy. A best friend. Marshall loves affection, playtime and treats ❤️🐾
