History: Rusty was found as a stray in Manitoba. Like many young dogs coming from uncertain beginnings, he needs a little time to settle into new environments—but once he does, his true personality shines through.
When Rusty feels comfortable, he’s an absolute sweetheart. He loves to play, run, and burn off his young-dog energy, and he enjoys having space to move and explore. He does best with calm, well-mannered dogs who respect his boundaries and help him feel secure rather than overwhelmed.
Rusty would thrive in a home that understands he may need a short decompression period, followed by lots of positive outlets for play, exercise, and fun. With patience and routine, he forms strong bonds and is a loyal, loving companion.
If you’re looking for a playful young dog with a gentle heart who just needs the right environment to flourish, Rusty might be your perfect match.
