I’m a 4-year-old, 51 lb Boxer mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging!

I’m a sweet, affectionate gal who adores people—though I’ll admit, I tend to be a bit of a daddy’s girl. I haven’t been around kids in my foster home yet, but I’m such a friendly soul that I think I’d do just fine with respectful little ones.

I get along great with other dogs and would love to have a playful canine buddy to romp around with. I haven’t lived with cats, but I don’t seem too interested in the stray ones I’ve seen, and I don’t have a strong prey drive. We can always do a cat test if needed!

I’m fully potty trained and walk nicely on a leash—though I might pull a bit when something exciting catches my eye. I do have a touch of separation anxiety, so I’d be happiest in a home where my person is around often—maybe someone who works from home or is retired.

I’m an energetic girl who loves adventures and would thrive in an active home that enjoys walks, hikes, and plenty of playtime. In return, I’ll shower you with loyalty, snuggles, and unconditional love.

*Disclaimer: Rose is currently located in Texas and can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.

Boxers are loyal, affectionate, and good natured companions, making them an ideal family pet. They are intelligent, playful, and love to be around people, making them excellent with children. Boxers require consistent training, plenty of exercise, and socialization to thrive. With their strong work ethic and protective instincts, boxers excel in various roles, including as service dogs, therapy dogs, and in dog sports.
