Boxer Dogs Available for Adoption

Trixie’s life before rescue was so neglected it led to a cruelty investigation… and yet somehow, this girl chose kindness.

At 8 years old and 55 lbs, this beautiful boxer mix with her stunning blue eyes is the definition of gentle strength. She is sweet. Quiet. Unassuming. The kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much — just a soft place to land and someone to love her back.

Despite everything she endured, Trixie is:

• Calm and easygoing
• Content just being near her person
• Fully vetted — masses removed & heartworm treated

She does have a slight limp — a reminder of her past — we are posting her as special needs because she does walk slowly with her leg & she had several masses removed on her other leg and belly.

Trixie is still worthy with so much love to give.
She doesn’t need perfection.
She just needs one person to finally choose her.

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 450 dogs in 20 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $200 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches. The boxer is a medium to large sized dog breed known for its muscular build, distinctive square head, and energetic personality. Boxers are loyal, affectionate, and good natured companions, making them an ideal family pet. They are intelligent, playful, and love to be around people, making them excellent with children. Boxers require consistent training, plenty of exercise, and socialization to thrive. With their strong work ethic and protective instincts, boxers excel in various roles, including as service dogs, therapy dogs, and in dog sports.
