Valiente (aka "Sam") is being fostered in Ridgefield, WA and he is available to meet!
Valiente was found with 4 of his siblings wandering in a field in rural south Texas after his mom was hit by a car. Someone in the community saw them and asked if we could help. Thankfully, one of our wonderful fosters agreed to help, and we saved them in early November. Valiente has been doing great in his foster home, and he has now completed his veterinary care. He is ready to find his forever person!
Valiente loves to play with any dog he meets, and he does well with cats too. He is social and gives plenty of puppy kisses. He loves a good squeaky toy. He loves playing tug with other dogs or with his human. He knows how to sit. He is treat motivated, and boiled chicken is his favorite.
Valiente is house trained and leash trained. He weighs 32 pounds, and he almost 5 months old (estimated birthday 10/1/25). His mama was a shepherd mix, and we have no idea who dad was. Based on his appearance, he is likely a Boxer mix.
Valiente is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
