Hi, I'm Chewy! As you can see, I am a young and spunky girl who loves all people, dogs, and even cats. Yep, that's right, I am a lover of all things. I am an incredibly sweet and smart companion who is truly eager to please. My dedication shows through my excellent listening skills; I already know some of the important things like, come, sit, lay down, and go to bed. When it is bedtime, I am very good about going in my crate for the night. I demonstrate great patience and discipline by waiting for a release command before eating my food. Additionally, I will wait patiently outside the door when told "Out". As you can see, I am very smart and have very advanced manners.

I love being around my people and my foster brother, I am also quite independent and capable of entertaining myself with toys. I would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where I can enjoy my "zoomies." I am currently working on my leash skills and have been making steady progress. I am told that "spa" days are a good thing and that I should appreciate them, however, I am working on getting more comfortable with that. I know that soon I will appreciate the finer things in life. This intelligent and loyal dog is a versatile hunter, originally bred to track and contain lions. With a strong and muscular build, the Rhodesian Ridgeback is also a loving and devoted family companion, displaying affection and protectiveness towards its loved ones.
