Elsie is a lovely one-year-old mixed breed with a heart as soft as her eyes. While her past is a bit of a mystery-she was left crulely tied to our gate overnight - its clear this sweet girl is ready to write a beautiful new chapter.
From the moment she arrived, Elsie has shown us just how gentle and loving she is. She walks beautifully on a leash, already knows a few tricks (smarty pants alert ), and has a calm, easygoing presence that makes her a joy to be around.
We're still getting to know her, so she hasn't been officially dog- or cat-tested yet. That said, Elsie hasn't shown any signs that would make us think she wouldn't do well. Based on her gentle nature, we think she has great potential to fit into a variety of homes-including ones with kids!
Elsie is the kind of dog who seems to understand the assignment: love her people, be sweet, and soak up all the affection she can get. Now all she's missing is a family to call her own
