Boxer and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption

ZENA

Boxer, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Omaha, Nebraska
February 13th
female, medium, young

DESCRIPTION

Zena is a shy little cutie who thinks the world is basically one big “too much, too soon.” Life feels a bit scary to her right now, but underneath that timid exterior is a brave heart just waiting for the right person to help it shine. Once Zena starts to feel safe, you’ll catch glimpses of her goofy, curious side—tiny tail wags, soft nose boops, and those “okay... maybe this is fun” moments that make you melt. She’s looking for someone patient who can cheer her on as she learns that new things aren’t so spooky after all. If Zena sounds like the gentle girlie for you, bring everyone in the household in to meet her! Zena is ready to take those big brave steps right by your side. Zena is available on a first come, first served basis. To meet this pet, please come to the shelter during adoption hours, fill out a survey with your information, and then you'll meet with an adoption coordinator who will introduce you and walk you through the adoption process.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
