Meet Buckeye

Buckeye came into our care alongside three other dogs and is now looking for a cozy foster home to call his temporary landing spot. This sweet boxer mix has a gentle, loving personality and is just happy to be around people.

Buckeye is simply searching for a safe place to crash while he waits for his vetting to be completed. He doesn't ask for much—just a soft place to rest, some kindness, and a little love while he gets ready for his next chapter.

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.

These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity.
