Rosie has been in foster care for five long years, watching other dogs come and go… while she’s had zero adoption interest. Not because she isn’t wonderful but because she’s been overlooked. And that’s the part that breaks our hearts.

This beautiful 5-year-old mixed breed is full of life, love, and a joyful, playful spirit. Rosie gives everything she has to playtime, to cuddles, and to the people she loves. She’s the kind of dog who becomes your shadow, your adventure buddy, and your biggest fan.

Rosie currently lives peacefully with both large and small dogs and is house trained and leash trained. She thrives with confident canine companions who can keep up with her fun, rough-and-tumble play style. Because of her zest for life, she’d do best with older kids who can match her energy.

At mealtime, Rosie happily eats in her kennel, a space she considers her safe haven, especially during thunderstorms (those are her least favorite).

She’s affectionate, loyal to her core, a little goofy, and obsessed with toys. Once Rosie chooses you as her person, she loves with her whole heart.
