Boxer and Black Mouth Cur Dogs Available for Adoption

Sweet little Tony was rescued right before our recent Texas ice storm. He wandered up on to a porch in a rural area and was found hiding behind a stack of firewood. He was very tiny and malnourished and certainly would not have survived that week of weather if he hadn't been found. Sadly, puppies are discarded like garbage here far too often. If you truly want to save a dog, find one in Texas.

He is the most affectionate little guy and loves to cuddle up and be held. He plays great with the bigger puppies he is sharing a room with and, he is using the dog door to go outside, that has to count for step one in potty training!

If you are looking for a new best friend Tony is ready to step in to the job.

Important transport notes:
• We cannot do meet-and-greets. The trip is long and demanding, and it would not be safe or fair for a dog or puppy to travel north and then return to Texas.
• No deposits are accepted.
• All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up.

* Herculaneum (south of St Louis) Friday evening
Illinois:
• Collinsville (north of St. Louis) Friday evening
• Springfield - Friday evening
• Bloomington / Normal - Friday evening
• Oglesby - Saturday morning
• Roscoe - Saturday morning
Wisconsin:
• Sun Prairie - Saturday late morning
• Fond du Lac - Saturday early afternoon

• Green Bay area adopters meet in Fond du Lac
• Joliet & Davenport area adopters meet in Oglesby or Roscoe
• Milwaukee area adopters: we do not have a Milwaukee stop, but we do stop in Sun Prairie, Fond du Lac, and Roscoe (near Rockford)

Medical & Spay/Neuter Information:
Most puppies travel with two rounds of vaccines, and sometimes three. Occasionally, we may not have had a puppy long enough for a second round.

Puppies under 6–8 months of age are not spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is a required condition of adoption and must be completed by the puppy’s first birthday, at the adopter’s expense. Out-of-state surgery costs are not included in the adoption fee.

About Our Rescue
Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Adoption proceeds go directly toward:
• Spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana
• Medical care for rescued puppies and dogs
• Emergency veterinary assistance for families in need when possible

All dogs remain in Texas foster homes until adopted.
