Lola is a sweet, sassy, chunky, Boston Terrier mix. She came to our sister rescue in AL from another rescue in the south- we're not sure how she came to be with them but she's been living in a home and doing very well. She is house-trained, crate trained, and loves car rides. She is being fostered with a cat and respects the cat. She would do best as the only dog in the home or in a home with larger, playful dogs that can match her energy. She can be picky about small dogs but seems to respect the corrections of larger dogs. She's energetic- not a couch potato- which makes sense as she's only about a year old. She's 35 lbs but a little on the chunky side (don't tell her we said that) so her ideal weight is around 30 lbs. She's a bit of a velcro dog- loves being with her person so would do well with older kids (she might knock the really little kids down in play) but could also be a companion for a single person looking for their best friend. She is currently in AL but is hoping her northern family sees her soon so that she can hitch a ride to her new home in Maine this spring!
