Hello, my name is Piper and I am an 8-month-old Boston Terrier full of love, wiggles, and puppy charm. I weigh 16 pounds, and still growing. I need a new home because my family could no longer care for me. I am being fostered in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

I am playful, affectionate (watch out for those kisses) and always ready for cuddles. I have the right amount of puppy spunk, curiosity, and I am always up for fun. I do have a soft, loving side that makes me the perfect companion. I really love belly rubs and being part of a family. I still have a little puppy mischief in me, but that just adds to my charm. I am still young and would benefit from continued additional training and structure.

My foster Mom & Dad have been working with me not to jump on people, but I just get so excited. I am kennel trained and prefer to sleep in my kennel for naps and at night. I am very eager to learn, and thrive on love and attention. I would make a wonderful addition to a home ready to embrace all the joy (and a little bit of puppy energy) that I would bring to my new forever home!

I love my cow, bone, tug of war toys and alien toy, with lots of cuddles on the couch.
I have an obsession with toilet paper, if I can get to it I will grab it out of the garbage and chew it up
I get along with the Boston Terrier in my foster home who is my buddy and we play well together.
I would rather not be left alone for long periods, remember I am a puppy

Housetrained? yes, I bark when I need to go outside, however I had a few accidents in my foster home while adjusting, doing better now
Leash-trained? not too bad but could use some more walks to improve

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
