Meet Jax!
Jax is a 2-year-old Boston Terrier weighing around 20 pounds, and he’s looking for a fresh start after losing the only home he’s ever known. After his owner sadly passed away, Jax found himself in rescue, and while that was a big change for him, he’s been slowly learning that he’s safe and cared for again.
At first, Jax can be a little shy as he takes in new surroundings, which is completely understandable given everything he’s been through. The good news is, it doesn’t take long at all for him to warm up—give him some gentle attention, a few tasty treats, and maybe a little baby talk, and within an hour he’ll be your new best friend. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet, loyal personality really shines.
Jax is a true Boston Terrier through and through. He has that classic fun, slightly bossy terrier charm and would do best with more easygoing dogs who don’t mind letting him take the lead. He gets along well with other dogs overall, but a home without cats would be best for him. He’s a great companion and would love to join you on outings, adventures, or simply hang out by your side.
He is both house trained and crate trained, and he settles nicely into his crate at night. That said, it’s clear he was used to sleeping in bed with his person and would love a home where he can snuggle up close again. Jax is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and will come with a health certificate prior to adoption. He’s a really good boy who just needs a little time, love, and reassurance to feel at home again.
