My name is Elvis. I am 3 years old and weigh 20 pounds. I need a new home because I was abandoned by a breeder. I am being fostered in Roeland Park, KS.

I am not sure why I’m here but I love everyone. I am truly the sweetest boy and so eager to please. I just want to love on you and make you happy. No one has ever taken the time to teach me how to be part of a family but I will learn so quickly. I will hang on your every word and do my best to do anything you ask. We can cuddle or play or I will be a perfect gentleman in my crate when you ask me to. I’m happy if you’re happy.

I get along with everyone I’ve met so far.

I would rather not share my people with furry siblings. I play nicely with my foster brother outside but don’t like sharing foster mom’s attention. I don’t dislike other dogs but would not want to live with one.

I need a person or family to give me the loving forever home I deserve, who are willing to teach me what they want me to do.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
