Hello there! My name is Anne. I am 5.5 years old and weigh 25 pounds. I need a new home as my family work schedule changed. I am being fostered in Omaha, NE.

I was originally a puppy mill survivor, so I needed time to adjust to new environments. I made good progress over the two years I was with a family, but changes in work schedule and moving caused me stress.

I am a sweet little girl who likes to sit on the couch and sleep in bed. Loud noises still scare me a little, so a low energy household without small children would be best for me. I prefer dogs that are my size or smaller. Big dogs make me anxious.

I lost my left eye to an injury, but I get around just fine. It's healing well. If you are looking for a buddy to share your life with, take a look at me!

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
