Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of May 2026 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 19 lbs as of 5/1/26; she is underweight at this weight
Gets Along With: Olga does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.
Special adoption considerations: Because Olga is shy, she needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes.
Olga is Looking For: This sweet girl was found by the side of the road in South Carolina. She was underweight and scared - and she has firmly closed that chapter. She's now ready to seek her forever family - kind humans who understand that she has not seen enough of the world and needs extra patience and support to navigate new places. She also needs a friendly resident dog who will show her how to dog.
Most of all, she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved for all her days. In exchange, she promises so many adoring gazes and loyal companionship. What do you say? Are you her fresh start? Is she the one you see by your side?
