Laverne is a sweet, affectionate rescue girl who is ready to bring warmth, love, and companionship into her forever home. She is around 2 years old and weighs approximately 25 pounds, making her a wonderful medium-sized companion—perfect for cuddles, adventures, and everyday life. Laverne is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX, where she has settled beautifully into a loving routine.

Laverne is fully potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy transition into a new home. She is good with all dogs and truly enjoys their company, whether it’s playtime in the yard or relaxing together after a busy day. That said, she does not necessarily need a home with another dog—she would be just as happy soaking up all the love and attention as your one-and-only.

One of her favorite pastimes is soaking up the sunshine. She loves curling up in a sunny spot by a window for a peaceful nap. She also enjoys going places! Laverne loads easily into the car and likes to stand on the console so she can see everything on the road ahead. She is leash trained and walks nicely, making daily strolls enjoyable.

Laverne may initially bark at strangers and especially men, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe. Outings without a lot of new people are preferred. At heart, she is a true cuddle bug who adores being held, petted, and sleeping with her family. She’s ready to offer endless affection and loyalty to her forever home. 💛
