Meet Gibby!
Gibby’s life was in jeopardy at a North Carolina shelter, but one quick phone call changed everything. He arrived at PWD with a broken pelvis and needed urgent medical care and plenty of time to heal. After a couple months of crate rest and careful leash walks, he has made an incredible recovery and is finally ready to find the forever home he deserves!
Around one year old and about 50 pounds (and still filling out as he gets healthier), Gibby is a handsome, goofy, playful Border Collie mix who loves to greet people with his signature “dancing paws.” He’s a happy, social pup who brings joy and enthusiasm wherever he goes.
Gibby is also a smart boy who has done wonderfully settling quietly in his crate during his recovery. He gets along well with other dogs and even cats, so he could fit nicely into a multi-pet household.
Like many young dogs, Gibby has plenty of energy and would thrive with an active family who can keep him busy and engaged. A fenced yard where he can stretch his legs would be ideal. His favorite activity (besides sticking close to his people) is chasing his ball outside and enjoying playtime in the fresh air.
After everything he’s been through, Gibby is ready to trade his recovery crate for a loving home full of adventure, play, and companionship.
If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving pup to keep you smiling, Gibby might just be your perfect match!
