Leo is an approximately 10-week-old Border Collie or Border Collie/Aussie mix who combines sweetness with a growing sense of independence. Like his brother, he can be shy around new experiences at first, but he is becoming more confident every day and shows a thoughtful, observant personality.

Leo is doing very well with crate training and potty training, and he is already showing how intelligent he is — he tends to pick up new skills quickly and enjoys learning. He is also comfortable entertaining himself and will happily wander off with a toy for independent play once he feels secure.

He interacts nicely with other dogs and is naturally more submissive, making him a great candidate for a home with another friendly, well-adjusted dog. Because he is still building confidence, a home without small children would be best for him.

Leo would thrive with an adopter who understands the needs of intelligent working breeds and is committed to continued training, socialization, and mental enrichment. He is going to grow into an incredibly loyal and capable companion.
