Hi there! My name is Nellie, and I’m a 6-month-old herding dog mix with a sharp mind and a strong instinct to work and be active.
I absolutely love to herd — it’s what I’m wired for! I’m happiest when I have space to move, things to focus on, and a job to do. Because of that, I’d thrive in a home with a large property, ranch, or farm OR with an active family that understands and appreciates herding dogs and their need for both physical and mental stimulation.
I’m still young and learning, but I’m eager, intelligent, and motivated. With the right guidance, structure, and outlet for my instincts, I’m going to grow into an incredible companion and working partner. I do best when I can stretch my legs, explore, and use my brain — a suburban couch-only lifestyle wouldn’t be the right fit for me.
