Border Collie Dogs Available for Adoption

Born in June of 2025, Rio is a friendly, playful, outgoing boy who would make a great companion for someone who enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. Rio has plenty of energy and loves to stay busy!

Rio would do best in a home with older children, as he may get excited and accidentally knock over younger kids. He would also do better with dogs that are not seniors, since he enjoys playing and can keep going for hours.

Rio is a sweet dog with no aggression. He would benefit from learning basic commands and having an adopter who is willing to spend time on training and guidance.

Rio has already been neutered, but he is still only available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt, meaning we can only accept applications from someone in the Hurricane area (Washington County). Once he receives his final vaccinations on May 1, his adoption can be finalized and this little ball of energy will be all yours.
