Dakota and his sister found themselves in a crowded Texas shelter. They were just TOO DARN CUTE to be stuck there, so Freedom Street Rescue stepped in to help them find loving homes in the Northeast.

Dakota is a sweet and happy puppy who loves all the basic puppy joys from wrestling with his sister to tug-of-war. His foster mom describes Dakota as friendly and affectionate. He is very curious about both the people and other dogs in his foster home. Dakota enjoys exploring and playing with his sister, but he LOVES being held and petted most of all.

Dakota looks like a Border Collie mix. He has a long thick white coat with reddish brown markings on his face, ears, back and tail. His ears are floppy and his tail is slightly curved. He weighs 9 pounds at 9 weeks, so he will most likely grow to be a medium sized dog.

Dakota is being fostered in Texas and will transport to the Northeast upon adoption. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his shots. His adoption fee is $550, plus a transport fee of $250.
