What We Know: Gumbo was clearly a beloved pet who found herself alone at a rural animal control. We fell in love with this precious girl hard and fast. She’s everything you could ever want in a dog. SO gentle - she just sits at your feet and gazes up at you hoping you’ll pet her sweetly. She is beyond precious and unbelievably well-behaved. She’s outstanding in her kennel, quiet, mellow, submissive and absolutely perfect. Gumbo temperament tested well with people and other dogs! She is learning to walk nicely on leash, is in off-leash playgroups with other pups, and is doing a good job of going potty outside. She will be an outstanding family pet!

What We’re Unsure About: We can’t guarantee breeds or ages, but we do our very best to guesstimate. In the shelter environment, we never know if a dog is housebroken or not, but we work on getting every dog to potty outside during their time with us. It’s important to anticipate needing to do all basic training.
