Christina Dior is a five-year-old Border Collie/Welsh Corgi mix with a stunning, impossibly soft and silky black coat, large expressive ears, and warm brown eyes that carry a quiet, searching expression. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on May 26th when her previous family could no longer afford to keep her, and this gentle, beautiful girl is now trying to make sense of a world that suddenly looks very different. She is calm, sweet, and simply wondering where the people she loves have gone.

Christina Dior is house trained, dog friendly, good with children, and already knows sit and stay. She is a very calm dog with impeccable manners and a serene presence that makes her an absolute pleasure to be around. At 33 lbs she is a perfect medium size — the ideal combination of the Border Collie's elegance and the Corgi's compact, sturdy build.

For a shy and confused dog adjusting to loss, the greatest gift is patience and consistency. Christina Dior is not a dog with problems — she is a dog with feelings, and those feelings make sense given what she has been through. The reward for giving her time and gentleness will be a deeply loyal, calm, and devoted companion who will never take a safe home for granted.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
