Hi, I’m Lucy! I’m a 3-year-old Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix weighing about 78 pounds, and I made my way here from a high-kill shelter down south for a second chance at the life I deserve. I’m truly one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet, with a heart that just wants to love and be loved.

As you can see from my pictures, I’m a true Velcro dog. I’m a total cuddle bug and happiest when I’m right by your side. If you’re sitting, I’ll be next to you (or leaning on you!), and if you’re moving around, I’ll be your little shadow. I don’t have separation anxiety—I do fine when you’re away—but when you’re home, I just want to be close. I absolutely love attention and affection, and I’ll soak up every bit you’re willing to give. I’ve done wonderfully with other dogs and have been amazing with kids, too—I especially adore my foster’s 8-year-old!

I’d do well in just about any loving home that’s ready for a loyal, affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a gentle, devoted girl who will always be by your side and fill your home with love, I might just be your perfect match. I come fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives—and I’m ready to find my forever family. I’m being fostered in Sand Lake, Michigan.
