Border Collie and Australian Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

Junior is a 3-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix who weighs 32 pounds, and he is just as handsome as he is sweet. With his striking black-and-white coat, happy smile, and tail that seems to wag non-stop, Junior is the kind of dog who brings joy wherever he goes.

Junior first came into the shelter as a puppy and was adopted in 2023, so he knows what it means to live in a home. Sadly, he was recently returned to the shelter as an owner surrender. When we saw this wonderful boy, we knew we had to step in and help him find the loving forever home he deserves. Since arriving in foster care, Junior has been thriving.

He is playful, friendly, and full of life. Junior is so cute to watch because he often prances instead of walks, adding even more charm to his already lovable personality. He enjoys playing with a tennis ball, chewing on antlers and other chew toys, and he gets along well with all the dogs in his foster home.

Junior is also a smart boy who is very food motivated, which should make training fun and rewarding. He would love a home where he can enjoy adventures like walks, hikes, and exploring with his people. At the same time, he is just as happy to come inside and relax on a soft dog bed. In the home, he is the perfect mix of calm, quiet, and easy to live with.

He is house trained, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, so he is more than ready for his next chapter.
