Hi there… I’m Ruby — a sweet, easygoing Bloodhound with a gentle soul and a heart that’s ready for a fresh start.

My story didn’t begin the easiest. I was found wandering on my own, a little worn down and in need of care. But thanks to some kind people, I got the help I needed and have had quite the glow-up since then. I had some painful teeth taken care of (good riddance!) and a few lumps removed that turned out to be nothing more than harmless fatty masses. Now I’m feeling so much better and ready for my next chapter.

I do have some seasonal allergies, so when certain times of year roll around, I may need a little medication to keep me comfortable — but overall, I’m a pretty low-maintenance girl.

I’m not the wild, go-all-day type… and honestly, I don’t want to be. I enjoy a little playtime here and there (especially with other dogs), but I’m happiest living a calm, relaxed life. Give me a few minutes of fun, and then I’m more than ready to curl up for a long, cozy nap.

My dream home is peaceful and easygoing — a place where I can settle in, feel safe, and just be your loyal companion. I’ll happily be your shadow, your nap buddy, and your quiet source of comfort.
