Meet Mimosa!!

Just look at her eyes!! Mimosa is a beautiful, gentle girl with the perfect balance of sweetness and playful energy. At 10 weeks old, she’s already showing what a loving, well-rounded companion she’s going to be. We anticipate she will grow into a wonderful medium-sized dog, making her a great fit for many different types of homes and lifestyles. We think this girl will be around 40 pounds full grown. She’s one of the smaller ones.

Mimosa’s personality is soft, affectionate, and social. She loves playing with her siblings and other dogs, but she also has a calm confidence about her. She enjoys being near her people, whether that’s playing in the yard, tagging along for family time, or curling up for cuddles at the end of the day. She’s affectionate without being overwhelming — the kind of puppy who naturally settles into your routine.

Mimosa loves all dogs, kids, and people and has an easygoing temperament. She hasn’t been around cats yet, but with slow, proper introductions, we believe she would do just fine in a cat-friendly home given her gentle nature.

Mimosa is one of 8 siblings who were rescued alongside their amazing mama just before a winter storm hit. We knew we couldn’t leave them facing those conditions, and we are so grateful they made it to safety. Their mom has an exceptional temperament, and this entire litter has clearly inherited her loving, stable personality. They are truly special puppies.

Her foster is actively working on crate training and potty training, and she’s doing great learning the basics of being a well-mannered pup.

From playful afternoons to cozy evenings, Mimosa is the kind of companion who simply wants to be part of your world.

Our primary rescue is based in Houston, Texas. We work with foster homes across multiple regions, which allows us to post adoptable dogs outside our immediate area. Transport is available to approved adopters.
