Whether he’s showing off his social butterfly skills with other pups or leaning in for some quality one on one time, Nash is a balanced, well socialized gentleman who just wants to be part of your world.

Nash is a hang out dog. While he loves a good trail walk or swim in the pool, he is happiest when he’s acting as your loyal shadow. He’s the kind of dog who will happily accompany you on a 3 mile trek and then immediately look for a soft spot to lounge by your side and give you “the look” as to watch movie are we watching. He isn’t just a pet; he’s a partner in crime who is always tuned in to his person's vibe.


Now, he hasn’t exactly disclosed his family tree with us yet, but we think Nash is a Black Mouth Cur mix! As a rescue superstar, his true heritage remains a mystery, but his stunning 48 lb frame makes him the perfect medium sized companion. He’s big enough to keep up with any adventure, yet compact enough to not take up the entire sofa though he’ll definitely try to tuck those long legs in for a serious snuggle once you're home!

Nash has been flourishing in a foster home! He is a crate trained rockstar who sleeps soundly through the night and stays calm while his humans are away. Even better? He is fully potty trained and has been a perfect houseguest. He’s lives with other dogs and handles the hustle and bustle of a multi dog household like a total pro, showing off his impeccable manners day in and day out.

When it comes to other dogs, Nash is a balanced king. He has a playful, bouncy energy that makes him a hit at the park, but he’s also incredibly respectful. If another dog isn't in the mood to play, Nash simply says cool and walks away. He would thrive in a home with another dog to wrestle with, or he’d be perfectly content as your one and only spoiled prince!

Nash is a dog who knows what he likes and he’s decided that feline friends aren't on his guest list! He seemed a little too interested when it comes to cats, so he’s looking for a strictly cat free sanctuary.

Nash dreams of a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs and freely "sing his songs" to his heart's content; he is adaptable enough to thrive in an apartment setting. He’s a "people person" through and through, and his ideal day involves a walk followed by a long nap. Nash is a medium energy companion, and an ideal hiking buddy for an active individual or family.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!
Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!
The adoption fee is $1,200.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
