Black Mouth Cur and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption

BABY

Black Mouth Cur, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Milan, Illinois
April 5th
female, medium, adult

DESCRIPTION

Baby is a 5-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix who is ready for a gentle new beginning. She's a shy girl who takes her time getting comfortable, but with patience and kindness, her sweet personality starts to shine through.

She would do best in a calm, quiet home where she can move at her own pace and continue building confidence. Baby is looking for someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to go slow with her as she learns the world isn't so scary.

To help set her up for success, Baby is part of our Paws Forward Program, which includes 3 free training sessions with Janette from Kind K9s after adoption. This support will help her with socialization, desensitization, and growing into the confident dog she's meant to be.

If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and want to help a deserving dog blossom this spring, Baby might be the perfect fit.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
