DESCRIPTION
If you've always dreamed of having a Lab but wished they came in a fun-size edition, Maura is your girl! At just 22 pounds, this adorable 2-year-old Lab mix packs all the love, goofy charm, and playful spirit of a big dog into one perfectly portable package.
Maura is incredibly sweet, loves making new friends, and is always ready for an adventure or a game. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, tossing a toy in the yard, or curling up after a day of fun, she's happiest when she's spending time with her people.
Maura does have a grade 4/6 heart murmur. Right now, she feels great and doesn't let it slow her down, but she will need a veterinarian who can monitor her heart over time and recommend any treatment if it becomes necessary. Many dogs with heart murmurs continue to enjoy happy, active lives with the right veterinary care.
If you're looking for a pint-sized companion with a huge personality and an even bigger heart, Maura is ready to steal yours. Come meet this lovable little lady! Can't adopt? Please share!
ABOUT: BLACK LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The black Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile breed known for its friendly nature, intelligence, and loyalty. They are agile, keen swimmers with a strong work ethic, making them excellent hunting and service dogs. Their glossy black coat is low maintenance and sheds minimally, while their friendly temperament makes them great family pets. Black Labs are known for their outgoing personalities and eagerness to please, making them loving companions in various roles and settings.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
