Owen is a 28 pound lab mix with a soft heart and a mind that's just starting to figure things out.

He is incredibly eager to please, the kind of puppy who wants to get it right. He has recently started clicker training and is already catching on quickly, showing just how capable and intelligent he is. You can see the pieces coming together for him in real time.

Owen is still learning about the world, and like many puppies at this stage, he will need continued guidance, consistency, and patience. The good news is... this is the stage where everything is still so moldable. With the right support, he is going to grow into an incredibly well-rounded dog.

While Owen doesn't need an over-the-top active lifestyle, he will benefit from regular daily exercise and mental enrichment to help him feel his best and continue building confidence.

He would do best as the only dog in the home, or with a confident, social, friendly dog who can help show him the ropes. We are unsure how he would do with cats, but at this age, those introductions can often be shaped successfully with slow, positive reinforcement.

Owen doesn't need perfection. He just needs someone willing to meet him where he is... and help him become who he's meant to be.
