Lodi is just under a year old and already has a fantastic personality to match his handsome looks. This youthful black lab mix is full of happy energy and ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick. Weighing just under 50 lbs, he’s a great size for adventures, daily walks, and cozy nights at home.

He does well with other dogs, especially those his size or bigger, and enjoys having canine buddies to hang out with. He’s a little too curious about kitties, so a cat-free home would be best for him. One of Lodi’s favorite things? Sleeping in bed with his people — he truly loves being close to his humans.

He enjoys walks, exploring the yard, and checking out the neighborhood, and he would be more than happy to join his future family on adventures. Lodi would do best in a home that wants to spend time with him, include him in daily life, and continue helping him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. With his friendly nature and loyal heart, Lodi is ready to be someone’s perfect sidekick.

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION:

This dog is currently in North Haven, CT. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets. The local adoption fee is $150.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee full grown size or breed mix. Both are guesses based on physical characteristics and any known history.
