Meet Dixie! She is a precious bundle of sunshine wrapped in a sleek black puppy coat, and she’s ready to bring endless joy to her forever family.

She and her brother Dexter were found wandering a neighborhood with no one looking for them. Both were in rough shape, but thanks to loving foster care, Dixie is now healthy, happy, and absolutely thriving. She’s everything you hope for in a puppy — playful, curious, a little mischievous, and overflowing with affection. One minute she’s ready for an adventure, the next she’s curled up in your lap soaking up cuddles.

Dixie loves everyone she meets and will fit beautifully into just about any home, whether you’re single, retired, have kids, or are just starting your family. She’d enjoy a doggy sibling to play with but will be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention herself too. Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $450 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee full grown size or breed mix. Both are guesses based on physical characteristics and any known history.
