Meet Dexter! He is a happy-go-lucky little guy whose entire mission in life is to love and be loved. Found alongside his sister roaming a neighborhood in rough condition, Dexter has made an incredible transformation in foster care and now sports a healthy, shiny black coat and the brightest puppy spirit you could imagine.

He’s playful, goofy, and wonderfully mischievous in that classic puppy way that keeps everyone laughing. Dexter is just as happy exploring the yard as he is snuggling up for nap time, making him the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion. He’s friendly with everyone and adapts easily, making him a great fit for homes of all kinds. Another playful dog would be a bonus, but Dexter will thrive anywhere he gets love, attention, and a comfy spot to call his own. He’s ready to start his forever life — all he needs now is his person.

Dexter is looking for a family ready for the fun and responsibility that comes with raising a puppy, and if you have the patience for those early learning stages, he could be the one for you. At his age, potty training is a work in progress but he’s already showing how clever and quick to learn he is. With a consistent routine and loving guidance, he’ll keep building good habits and blossom into an amazing best friend. Dexter is around 2.5-3 months old and he'll be neutered at the end of February then ready for his forever home!

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $450 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee full grown size or breed mix. Both are guesses based on physical characteristics and any known history.
